Three charged with child concealment

Reports from the Huntington Police Department provided the following information:
The Huntington Police Department was called to assist Child Protective Services in retrieving a child allegedly being concealed on Tuesday.

Police arrested Tony M. Howard, 46, Shepard Gale Singleton-Bego, 49, and Florence Curtis Bego, 51, at a residence on the 600 block of 8th Street.

Officers had to force entry into the apartment to find the child, who was found in a child safety seat in the bedroom. The child was turned over to Child Protective Services to be placed in foster care.

The three suspects were arrested without incident and were being housed at the Western Regional Jail. Bego was charged with felony child concealment, and bond was set at $25,000. Howard was charged with felony child concealment and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court. His bond was $27,000. Singleton-Bego was charged with felony child concealment, and her bond was $25,000.

GRAND LARCENY: American Electric Power told police officers that unknown people entered a fenced lot on the 1100 block of 7th Avenue and allegedly took approximately $1,500 worth of copper wire between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Reports from the Western Regional Jail listed the following felony bookings:

Gregory Lee Hatfield, 23, was incarcerated at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony child neglect and misdemeanor domestic assault. His bond was $12,500.

Hassan Jamal Randolph, 19, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony transferring/receiving stolen property and misdemeanor driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bond was $25,500.

Daniel Eugene Smith, 20, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony transferring/receiving stolen property. His bond was $25,000.

Brandon Jarrell Hairston, 20, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony transferring/receiving stolen property. His bond was $25,000.

Harold Lee Cochran, 39, was incarcerated at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with a felony bail piece. He was being held without bond.
